Nikki Pietrocola is an illustrator and printmaker originally from Point Pleasant, New Jersey who currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Associate's in Animation (2020) and her BFA in Illustration (2023) from Lesley College of Art & Design. The past four years she has been focusing on showcasing her work along the East Coast. However, while also working on a few personal projects, she has recently discovered a new passion, teaching.
"What truly catches my attention is when art has the
opportunity to ignite a positive change. I want to
inspire others to persevere through their own battles
as well as help propel my audience into learning that
they too have their own visual voice and how to use it.
Having a creative outlet while growing up completely
shifted not only my mindset but continues to help me
navigate my own life to this day. For the first time,
I was able to recognize the power of art and the
importance of mental health awareness."

"As a Filipino-Italian gay woman, I believe that art is one of the few outlets to connect with one another across race, class, sexuality, gender identity, and religion. With a combination of topics such as racism within the AAPI (Asian Pacific Islander) Community, gay rights and expression." Pietrocola's work also covers topics such as sexual assault, how to cope with it, as well as mental health awareness.
